It would have been perfect if I were able to use it. The top only fits into two of the slots - not all four. It is also quite wobbly so I purchased some locking nuts to help keep it stable. Of course, the top is on a slant until I can get someone to bend the legs so that they might fit. I would have returned the item if the box in which it was shipped did not have to be cut apart in order to open it and retrieve the item. Actually, this was not worth it at any price. I wasted my money and thought seriously of contacting my credit card company to withhold payment.

Well this product did not come with any screws or instructions....given the fact that it doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out how to assemble four pieces, instructions weren't neccessary. I will say that the parts were package as if they were blind. It did not come in it's original box so therefore it explains why it was missing screws and instructions which is not very good service in my opinion. I did contact Amazon regarding this matter and they explained that they were not liable for it and would not send me the missing screws. It may not be a big thing but I was fortunate that I was just missing the screws. I will never use Amazon again because if I order anything else which had more parts that were missing...THEY WON'T BE LIABLE. In my book, that only means they don't care about their customer service and will blow you off. I've dealt with missing parts from other websites and have received credit or they were replaced so all I can say is that AMAZON SUCKS with their customer service. I will continue to not recommend Amazon to everyone I speak as bad news travels faster. If you are reading this review...please close your window and go somewhere else.

I ordered the pot rack and it arrived very quickly, thanks Amazon. However, the pewter finish is just paint and it was already chipping at the corners. NOT Good! The pot rack was relatively easy to install. I got it up and then attached the hooks. Not all of them fit. 4 did not. I will have to use a wrench to make the openings a little wider so I can slip them on the rack. Also, the hooks have little balls at the ends which look nice, but are too big for several of the holes in the pots and pans I would like to hang. Specifically, the hook balls were too big for the holes in my 4 new Calphalon non-stick pans, just purchased from Williams-Sonoma. Also, 2 of my All-Clad stainless pans did not work with those ball hooks. My older Calphalon anodized aluminum pans did work. Overall, the rack looks nice, but I am disappointed in its quality and ultility. I have had Calphalon racks in the past that were much more functional.

I researched this product in different websites and even contacted one of the sellers regarding the finish. But, what I suspected about the finish happened anyway. I received the product and the finish was chipping off and it was rusted all around. The finish had bubbled up and chipped off in different areas therefore making it not worth the money. Any product that has a spray on finish is going to end up chipping in the future so I was trying to make sure that this product had a quality workmanship. It is sort of like putting nail polish on too thick before it dries and it ends up bubbling up and chipping off. I would not recommend this product, aside the fact I ended up eating the shipping amount even though it was considered "free shipping".

I wanted to love this griddle because I have other Lodge pans and the size is great. That said, even with preheating, this griddle does not heat evenly - the center gets much hotter than the corner areas. For pancakes, I rotate them just to have some even browning. A disappointment.

I have a collection of Lodge pans in the kitchen "tool box" so it was a no brainer that getting this griddle would be an exciting addition. It showed up in perfect shape and was even pre-seasoned. I was sure that cooking would be a snap but was quickly very disappointed. After mixing up some delicious home made pancakes, I quickly ruined the first pan full by the pan burning the ones in the middle and under cooking all the others. We use a state of the art G.E. gas stove with very good ratings. The burners all are very even and heat perfectly. After shifting the griddle around to other burners, there was no change. This problem usually stems from poor materials and inconsistent construction. For any other griddle, I would take it in stride but for a Lodge product, this was surprising and unexpected. For comparison purposes, I put on the large skillet and cooked up a perfect set of pancakes. I've never had such an experience and couldn't believe it! This shouldn't stop you from buying their skillets but I can't believe the handling of this griddle. Very disappointing. Very unexpected.

I ordered this griddle to replace my Teflon one - trying to replace all my teflon cookware piece by piece. I'm VERY happy with it. It came pre-seasoned and ready to use, and I've used it a dozen times already; for pancakes, for quesadillas and most recently, for grilled cheese sandwiches. It does take some "getting used to". It is very heavy for one. And it takes a while to pre-heat, because you don't want to heat it up too fast. I usually start it out on low heat (around 3 or 4 on my electric range). I pre-heat for about 5 minutes. This way, the heat gets evenly distributed. If you start cooking too soon, yes, it will be unevenly heated. Once you bring it up to heat, you need to watch it to make sure it doesn't get too hot. I leave it on 3 or 4, closer to 3 for pancakes, closer to 4 for grilled cheese - and it has cooked everything perfectly. Cleans up like a professional non-stick item and is tough, tough, tough. I use my steel pizza cutter to cut through quesadillas right on the griddle before serving them - something you definitely CAN'T do on Teflon!
Admittedly, a few drawbacks - the weight, the long time to pre-heat. But once you get used to it, you will love it just like I do.

I love miniature items...this skillet is perfect for spoon rest, wall
decoration and perfectly fine for cooking.
My grandchildren love the personal cornbread serving. perfect for their
tiny hand...it's not quite as deep as a muffin tin.
When the price is right, I intend to order 8 more for a cool dozen!

The reason I ordered this item was so I could prepare sausage, whipped eggs and biscuit sandwiches for breakfast on the go. These little beauties are the perfect size. Just line them up on the burner, pour in the eggs, and cook on low/med heat. The sausage can either be pressed into and cooked in the miniature skillets as well, or used the skillets as a press so the sausage will be the same size as the egg. Cook while you bake the biscuits. This and a small slice of cheese and you have a mouth full of heaven on the way to work. Sure, it's a specialty item and probably not one you'd use for everything...but then again that's part of the fun of cooking. BTW, love the garlic idea
